it's less than 72hrs away now. bedok reservoir was expectedly crowded tdy & yes, i miss macritchie though the waters felt different. so many things have happened since it all started, so many lessons learnt, so many discoveries made, so much tears & sweat. we're all gonna paddle our hearts out.

this was how it began..

the once-upon-a-time-k2-juniors

this is the present..

boat partners & our red-hot stingray

& the mighty hcanoe snr girls team!

sakae buffet for pre-comp dinner.

chiaming! my lovely backman (:

of course, our juniors are strong girls too. and we've certainly grown closer to kaiwen & fiona..

trgs & nationals aside, i must say i'm awestruck by the super high-tech vacuum cleaner we use at home. kinda random to bring this up but it came to my attention that times have really changed, my mum actually spent 10min teaching me how to use and dismantle that giant sucky thing (literally). what happened to those days when you simply plug in the wire and press on? gosh i'm true to my cinderella roots lahh.

ohyes the other day on the mrt i overheard a convo which left me rather irked. this bunch of ahlians were delightfully exclaiming how atrocious their english was, except they dint refer to english as english, their convo was peppered with ang moh. like "wah lao my angmoh is chao1 lan4 lor!" and "i think my ang moh worse can, i got F leh." pleaaaasee lahhh.

/true blue spoilt brats. :D
